CLUB
BENOWA
Barefoot Bowls is
a great program and opportunity where your team actually becomes
more successful in business by being encouraged to have fun, and
relieve themselves from the office - to the outdoors for a healthy
interactive day to suit your company.
CLUB
BENOWA
Barefoot Bowls corporate
days are designed to create better workers, thinkers and team
players.
Your team building
activity can be easily combined as part of a customized package,
including meals and refreshments. Invariably, this event is loaded
with humour, excitement, and surprise, and the benefits continue to
provide positive results long after all the Bowls, Mats and Jacks
have been packed away.
A Team Building Event is a safe place to test and out new ideas and
concepts of how to work together as a team. With our team events we
believe it is important to use play and fun to illustrate the
crucial nature of building teamwork and communication in the
business environment. So kick your shoes off, and get to know your
work mates barefooted. So come and try the 2ND best fun that you can
have with your shoes off.
►
Increase communication -
learn new strengths, and establish a closer-knit and more productive
team, gaining insights they would not have discovered in the
workplace.
►
Inclusion - the more inclusive, the greater
the number of talents within the team.
►
Building trust - create a
safe environment, and the organization will grow stronger. And of
course having fun together outside of the workplace - your staff
will feel valued and rewarded.
CLUB
BENOWA
Barefoot Bowls can
also organise Christmas parties so you can find out what your
manager is really like when they let their hair down! Not only do we
offer unique events such as Christmas parties, Fancy dress,
Halloween, Retirement day - you can pick your own theme (use your
imagination).
So let us take the hassle out of planning your Christmas party, and
have something everyone will be talking about over their Turkey this
Christmas.
Tips
The first tip from
CLUB
BENOWA
Barefoot Bowls is to
enjoy your Barefoot Bowls social day, function or party.
There are many different
coaching contacts (details available) if you intend to join a club
or just be more competitive. Now here's a few tips for the bowler
who wants to enjoy, but doesn't want to be embarrassed - and might
gamble for a few drinks on the day, perhaps.
- If you are off the
bowling mat be yourself. If you are on the mat - concentrate.
- Be confident. Someone who
is sure they can do something is better than someone who is sure
they cannot.
- Control. All bowlers from
amateur to pro deal with the same predicament; to try to make your
next bowl better than your last. Be logical. Too hard - bowl
softer. To wide - bowl narrower ... and so on.
- Visualize your bowl
bending (be assured it will bend).
- Each bowl has a large and
small symbol on each side - the bowl bends towards the small
symbol. Make a habit to check each time.
- Try not to bowl with your
palm, bowl with your fingers.
- Keep it simple. Strive
for consistency.
- Relax. Don't be nervous.
The more you drink the quicker that wears off.
We hope our hints are
helpful and don't forget our first tip - Enjoy.
